Rope Access

The training and safety standards set by the OTDL do not differ from those established by foreign colleagues. The certificate is accepted by many entrepreneurs on the Polish market, but is not accepted abroad.

Levels qualification:

Level 1 technician trainee

This rope access technician is able to perform a specified range of rope access tasks under the supervision of a Level 3.

Level 2 rope access technician

Rope access technician: at this level a technician has knowledge and skills to prepare occupational positions, builds and operates the lift systems, and participates in rescue operations. Work on the acces rope can be undertaken under the supervision of Level 3 specialist.

Level 3 technician rope access- Specialist:

At this level employee has full knowledge and skills in rope access techniques that allow him to prepare and supervise work of other employees from levels 1 and 2.

Certificates:

Each certificate, regardless to the level, is issued for a period of 3 years. After this date you should attend to a refresher training or ascend to a higher level. Additionally, technicians who did not participate in the work at heights for longer than six months should undergo re-training.
