Compliant with the guidelines of the Organization of Rope Access Technicians (OTDL).
The OTDL PP training is dedicated to individuals who, in their daily work, perform tasks at height using a variety of tools and equipment such as work platforms, scaffolding, lifts, and ladders, as well as to workers moving on steel structures, masts, poles, and lattice towers.
The course is intended for both beginners and experienced workers who wish to gain or refresh knowledge in the field of safe work at height in accordance with current regulations and OTDL guidelines.
Scope of the training
The training program includes both theoretical and practical components, focusing on key aspects of safety in work at height:
- Legal regulations and standards for work at height – Participants will become familiar with applicable legal requirements and occupational health and safety standards related to working at height.
- Hazard identification – Participants learn to recognize potential hazards that may occur during work at height and methods of eliminating them.
- Causes of accidents and risk reduction methods – The training provides an understanding of the most common causes of accidents and effective methods for minimizing risk.
- Rights and responsibilities of employees – The course helps participants organize their knowledge of their rights and duties in the context of work at height.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Participants become familiar with types of PPE necessary to ensure safety and protect health and life when working at height. Methods of inspection and proper use are also discussed.
Training objectives
Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for:
- safe performance of work at height,
- correct selection and use of personal protective equipment,
- responding to emergency and rescue situations.
The training concludes with the issuance of a certificate valid for 2 years, confirming qualifications in accordance with the OTDL PP certification system.
