ARBORIST A+B+PILTER

The course is designed for people who want to acquire the knowledge needed to perform sectional felling of trees using a petrol chainsaw in the tree canopy.

The trainee will also acquire the knowledge necessary to take a simple rescue action in the event of a threat to his own health and life, as well as that of his co-workers.

The certificate is recognised for admission to the European Treeworker certification or sectional felling course.

Training program:

health and safety rules,
selection and basic information on equipment used in tree climbing,
Rope access techniques in tree climbing,
methods and techniques for working with cutting tools during tree and shrub care,
introduction to mechanical tree reinforcement systems,
procedures involved in tree climbing (inspection, organisation),
knots used during tree climbing using rope access techniques,
rope installation techniques,
tree climbing techniques,
techniques for moving in the tree canopy, and techniques for giving work positions,

basics of load control (Rigging),
use and operation of the chainsaw,

procedures related to joining the tree work (inspection, organisation),
