Course Description
The course is intended for individuals who meet the qualification requirements for the following types of work and job positions:
Operation (Exploitation) — positions involving work related to operation, maintenance, servicing, repair, assembly or disassembly, as well as inspection and control-measurement activities.
Supervision — positions involving management of personnel performing the above-mentioned activities or positions responsible for supervising the operation of equipment, installations, and networks.
Certificate validity: 5 years.
Group 1 Equipment
Group 1 includes power generation equipment, installations, and power networks used for the generation, storage, conversion, transmission, and consumption of electrical energy:

Power-generating equipment connected to transmission or distribution networks, regardless of rated voltage

Electrical equipment, installations, and networks with rated voltage not exceeding 1 kV
-
Electrical equipment, installations, and networks with rated voltage above 1 kV and not exceeding 30 kV
-
Electrical equipment, installations, and networks with rated voltage above 30 kV and not exceeding 110 kV
-
Electrical equipment, installations, and networks with rated voltage above 110 kV
-
Generator sets with power output exceeding 50 kW

Electrothermal equipment
-
Electrolysis equipment
-
Electric street lighting networks
-
Electric traction networks
-
Electrical equipment designed for use in explosive atmospheres

Electrical energy storage systems and equipment enabling the feeding of electricity into the power grid with capacity exceeding 10 kW

Control and measurement instrumentation, as well as automatic regulation, control, and protection systems for equipment and installations listed in points 1–12
Training Program
- Overview of the provisions of the Energy Law ActPrinciples of rational energy management
- Construction and operation of equipment generating, converting, and transmitting electrical, thermal, and gaseous energy
- Electrical, gas, and thermal networks and installations
- Selected topics in thermal energy, gas energy, and electrical power engineering
- Control and measurement instrumentation
- Personal protective equipment and principles of providing first aid in emergency situations
- Occupational health and safety (OHS), fire protection, and electrical shock protection regulations
Duration: 3 hours + examination
Training Format: The training is conducted online via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Certificate of education (school or relevant higher-education diploma)
- Employer’s certificate issued no earlier than 14 days before the examination date
- The earliest possible examination registration date is 14 days from the date of application
- In the case of self-employment: a scan of the CEIDG registration along with the relevant PKD business activity code
(e.g. 43.21.Z – Electrical installation works; 43.22 – Plumbing, heating, gas, and air-conditioning installation works)
